Facelifted Peugeot 301 revealed

The PEUGEOT 301 is the first car specifically developed by the brand for the sedan B segment and targets customers in international markets looking for a status-enhancing saloon.

Over 360,000 units have been produced worldwide since its launch in 2012. Its success is rooted in recognised qualities, namely passenger room and boot capacity which are the best in the segment, dynamic handling imbued with PEUGEOT expertise, and a design tailored to local driving conditions.

New features have enhanced the new PEUGEOT 301 to satisfy a growing number of customers in this strategic segment. Its bodywork incorporates the brand’s latest stylistic codes. The vertical radiator grille, the headlights mounted flush with the bodywork and the meticulous modifications embody the car’s durability. The signature lighting, complete with LEDs at the front, reflects the technology within.

The large 7″ touch screen is pivotal to this development. Fast and accurate thanks to its capacitive technology, this screen displays images from the reversing camera and the 3D TomTom navigation system. It duplicates smartphone content using Mirror Screen triple play connectivity, an unprecedented offer in the segment.

The dynamic nature of its chassis is revealed by a modern range of engines. New for the PEUGEOT 301, the PureTech 3-cylinder petrol engine is already fitted on over a million of the brand’s cars worldwide. The latest generation EAT6 automatic gearbox, with its Quickshift technology, joins the range on the 1.6L VTi 115hp petrol engine. For Diesels, the 1.6L BlueHDi 100hp engine features record driving comfort and fuel consumption.
